Europa, mecanism de urgență împotriva agresiunii Rusiei. Măsuri contra dronelor, sabotajelor, incendierilor • Newsweek România

The European Union is developing an emergency protocol to address Russian aggression, focusing on hybrid threats like drone attacks and sabotage. During a defense ministers' meeting in Brussels, discussions centered on coordinating responses to these challenges without duplicating NATO's efforts. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas emphasized the need for collaboration with NATO and outlined that the protocol would provide tools for responding to non-military aggression. Additionally, EU members agreed to allocate €6.6 billion for Ukraine's defense, prioritizing air defense, while also extending the EU military assistance mission to Ukraine by two years.
