Europe is expected to face a jet fuel deficit in Q4 2026, despite increasing imports from distant suppliers like South Korea. Analysts note that since the Iran conflict began, Europe has relied more on imports from countries such as Nigeria, the US, and Canada, as Middle Eastern disruptions have affected half of its supply. Energy Aspects forecasts a shortfall of 510,000 barrels per day in Europe, while the US and Asia-Pacific regions will see surpluses. South Korea has recently become a key supplier, with imports to Europe reaching their highest level since October 2022. The ongoing supply deficit suggests that European imports will continue, driven by favorable price differences.
