Eurobarometru: UE face mai mult sport ca acum 4 ani, dar România iese din nou în față. Prin sedentarism

Recent data shows that Europeans are increasingly engaging in sports, with 38% exercising multiple times a week, a rise from previous years. However, Romania remains one of the most sedentary countries in the EU, with only 20% of its population participating in regular physical activity. The European Commission's Eurobarometer highlights that health is the primary motivation for exercise, with 44% of respondents citing it as their reason. The report also notes significant growth in active commuting, with those walking or cycling to work increasing from 24% to 37%. The upcoming European Week of Sport aims to promote physical activity across the continent.
