Despite this drop, other major currencies rose against the leu, with the US dollar increasing to 4.7569 lei and the Swiss franc reaching 5.7358 lei. The British pound also saw a rise, now at 6.2894 lei. Meanwhile, the Hungarian forint decreased to 1.4485 lei, and the gold gram was priced at 635.9834 lei, down by 3.2176 lei.
