Euro a atins un nou maxim istoric în raport cu leul. Cursul anunțat de BNR

On September 23, 2026, the euro reached a historic high against the Romanian leu, with a reference rate of 5.2788 lei per euro set by the National Bank of Romania. This marks an increase of 0.0141 lei from the previous day, surpassing the previous record of 5.2688 lei established in May 2026. Other currencies, including the US dollar, British pound, and Swiss franc, also saw increases. The dollar rose to 4.6265 lei, while the pound and franc reached 6.1442 lei and 5.6205 lei, respectively. The price of gold per gram also increased to 641.4000 lei. The BNR publishes the reference rate daily based on bank quotations, which may differ from actual exchange rates.
