„Eu contez”, filmul Alinei Șerban, a câștigat Premiul publicului la Festivalul de Film de la Veneția

The film "I Matter" by Alina Șerban won the Audience Award at the Venice Film Festival. This marks her debut in feature films and she is the first Roma female director from Romania. The film premiered in the Venice Spotlight competition and addresses themes of overcoming fear and self-acceptance. It follows the story of Rebeca, a young Roma woman leaving a care center, hoping to reunite with her father. The cast includes both professional actors and young residents from care centers in Bucharest.
