ETF-urile pe România aproape și-au triplat activele în 2026

Romanian ETFs listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange saw assets increase by €276 million in the first seven months of 2026, nearly tripling their size. New capital inflows accounted for €155 million, while €122 million came from the appreciation of Romanian stocks. International ETFs also increased exposure to Romanian equities, holding approximately €264 million. Despite Romania's small share in total assets of these funds, their holdings are nearing 1% of the free-float on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The growth of ETFs reflects a broader structural transformation in financial markets, with technology facilitating trading and expanding product offerings.
