„Este eșecul adulților care au construit, administrat și apărat acest sistem. Nu al copiilor”. Reacție dură după rezultatele PISA
Recent PISA results reveal that nearly half of Romanian 15-year-olds struggle with reading comprehension and mathematics. Cătălin Viorel Nan, president of the National Parents Federation, attributes these outcomes to systemic failures rather than student shortcomings. He emphasizes that the education system, outdated and poorly constructed, has not adapted to modern needs, resulting in a lack of essential skills among graduates. Nan calls for a comprehensive 20-year educational reform plan, highlighting the need for measurable accountability within the system. He argues that without urgent action from government and educational authorities, the current state of education will continue to hinder Romania's future.
