The financing contract for CET Titan has been signed, marking a new phase in its implementation. The new power plant aims to enhance energy security in Bucharest, utilize resources efficiently, and reduce environmental impact through modern cogeneration technologies. The project, financed by a banking syndicate, is valued at approximately 289 million lei and is a significant investment in the city's energy infrastructure. CET Titan will produce around 400 GWh/year of electricity and 200 GWh/year of thermal energy, contributing to the centralized heating system. The plant will employ natural gas cogeneration technologies with a total energy efficiency of about 90%. Construction is expected to take around 14 months, with factory acceptance tests already underway.
