CET Vest, which was shut down due to two fires in spring, is set to be restarted in stages by ELCEN. The estimated dates for resuming operations are November 15, 2026, for the combined cycle and December 15, 2026, for hot water boilers. ELCEN is currently working with specialized firms to repair the damaged equipment and enhance safety measures. Additional fire intervention teams have been deployed, and security protocols have been strengthened to prevent theft and further incidents.
