Erste: Sentimentul economic din România a scăzut în septembrie

Romania's Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) slightly decreased in September to 92.2 points, reflecting reduced confidence in industry and services. Despite this, the ESI average for Q3 2026 improved to 92.5 points, indicating a potential economic growth in the latter half of the year. Confidence in the retail sector rose, while the construction sector also showed signs of improvement. Consumer confidence saw a minor increase, although intentions for significant purchases declined. Erste Group maintains its recession forecast for Romania in 2026, predicting a 0.7% GDP contraction, but expects a recovery in 2027 with a 2.2% growth.
