Interim Transport Minister Radu Miruță inaugurated PESA regional trains, but passengers reported issues with air conditioning and delays. Complaints arose during the Bucharest-Constanța route, where travelers faced high temperatures due to malfunctioning AC. Despite maintenance efforts, only the last carriage had functional cooling, leading to discomfort. The train also experienced significant delays, accumulating nearly an hour. Similar problems occurred on the Bucharest-Brașov route, prompting the minister to confront PESA representatives. PESA's representative explained that software resets were needed for the AC systems, which struggled under extreme heat. Ongoing collaboration with CFR aims to resolve operational issues quickly.
