Epurare la vârful armatei chineze. Doi generali de rang înalt au fost excluși sub acuzaţia de „neloialitate şi corupţie”

China has expelled two high-ranking military officers, Zhang Youxia and Liu Zhenli, from the Communist Party and the army for serious violations of discipline and law. This decision comes just days before Xi Jinping's visit to the U.S. for talks with Donald Trump and ahead of a significant party meeting in October focused on internal governance and discipline. Zhang, a key military aide to Xi, and Liu, head of the General Staff, faced investigations since January. The leadership accused them of disloyalty, corruption, and negligence, stating their actions severely breached political discipline and norms. The announcement highlights Xi's ongoing anti-corruption campaign, which has targeted numerous high-ranking officials since 2012.
