Italian divers have discovered an ancient Roman shipwreck off the coast of Sicily, believed to be over 2,000 years old, containing well-preserved amphorae. The find, praised by Italy's Culture Minister, was made at a depth of 46 meters following a tip from fishermen. The ship, measuring 21 by 6 meters, dates back to the 1st or 2nd century BC. The diver who found it described the experience as incredible, noting the historical significance of the site. Authorities are taking measures to protect the wreck while further investigations are conducted.
