Energie de milioane de euro nefacturată și datorii uriașe nerecuperate. Ce a descoperit Curtea de Conturi după ce a reluat verificările la cel mai mare furnizor de energie electrică din România

The Romanian Court of Accounts found that Hidroelectrica failed to bill electricity worth millions to various companies and churches, with significant debts remaining uncollected. Despite previous recommendations, the company implemented only a fraction of the required measures to address these issues. The audit revealed that Hidroelectrica provided unbilled electricity amounting to approximately 8 million lei to 20 clients, and many invoices were issued late, sometimes after clients declared insolvency. The total outstanding debts owed to Hidroelectrica reached 1.16 billion lei, with a substantial portion overdue. The Court criticized the company's lack of detailed reporting on unbilled energy and the ineffective management of client contracts.
