Energia eoliană compensează oprirea Cernavodă

Romania is relying on wind energy and imports after the shutdown of Reactor 2 at Cernavoda. Cristian Busoi, a state secretary in the Ministry of Energy, highlighted the significant contribution of wind energy to electricity supply, with forecasts indicating an average production of around 500 MW in the coming days. The country imported less energy than expected, even with Reactor 2 operational. The peak load recorded was approximately 7,000 MW, lower than anticipated. The reactor is expected to remain offline for at least ten days, necessitating increased reliance on wind energy and other sources to meet consumption needs.
