Emil Hurezeanu critică transformarea Cazarmei 90 din Sibiu în parcare

Emil Hurezeanu criticized this decision, advocating for urban development that preserves cultural heritage. He compared Sibiu's loss to successful restorations in Austria, where similar buildings have been transformed into cultural spaces. Cazarma 90, built between 1792 and 1807, served various administrative purposes before its decline. Local authorities are now considering a project for a cultural center on the site, with funding allocated for studies in 2025, while also planning to highlight the remnants of the former barracks.
