Emil Boc anunță finanțare europeană pentru metroul Clujului: 357 de milioane de euro / Ar trebui să se circule cu metroul în Cluj din 2029

The mayor of Cluj-Napoca, Emil Boc, announced a new EU funding contract for the city's metro project, amounting to 357 million euros. This funding is part of the Regional Program 2021-2027, with a completion deadline set for December 31, 2029. The total project funding will reach 2.2 billion euros by 2023, including contributions from the state and local budgets. The contract aims to construct 8.8 kilometers of metro line, with a full completion target by 2032. Boc credited the entire team for securing this financing and expressed gratitude to EU officials for their support.
