Musk responded angrily on social media, stating that Gibney lacks integrity and has only gathered negative opinions from people with personal grievances against him. The documentary features interviews with several individuals close to Musk, including his ex-wife and the mother of his 13th child, who made claims about a confidentiality agreement. Gibney attempted to interview Musk but was refused, leading to the creation of an AI avatar to represent him in the film. The documentary is set to be released in U.S. theaters on October 16.
