The Romanian Black Hawk helicopter continues firefighting efforts in Serbia, having dropped 17.5 tons of water in its first day of operations. The aircraft, part of the rescEU reserve, is assisting local authorities in combating wildfires, particularly in the Deliblatska Peščara area. Romania has also deployed a ground team of 69 personnel and 15 technical units to support firefighting efforts. This mission marks the first international deployment of the Black Hawk S-70M under the rescEU framework. Additional helicopters and firefighting teams from other countries have also been mobilized to aid Serbia.
