Elevii nu vor merge luni la cursuri, de Ziua mondială a Educaţiei

On October 5, students and teachers in Romania will not attend classes to celebrate World Teachers' Day, a non-working day in the education system. This day, recognized since 1994, was established by UNESCO to commemorate the signing of the 1966 Recommendation on the Status of Teachers. It serves as a global framework for teachers' rights and responsibilities. In Romania, this day is distinct from Teacher's Day, celebrated on June 5 since 2013.
