The Romanian government has approved financial incentives for students achieving a perfect score of 10 in national exams in 2026. Graduates from the eighth grade will receive 2,000 lei, while high school graduates will receive 5,000 lei. A total budget of 474,000 lei has been allocated for 99 beneficiaries. The decision is based on the Law of Pre-University Education and aims to recognize and encourage academic performance. The exact procedure for disbursing the funds will be established later by the Ministry of Education, which has been providing such incentives for over a decade.
