Elevii celui mai bun liceu din România s-au îmbrăcat în negru, în semn de protest față de uniformele obligatorii

Thousands of students in Romania protested against mandatory school uniforms, showing solidarity with peers from other schools. Students from the top-ranked Gheorghe Lazăr College participated, wearing black to express their dissent. They argue that mandatory uniforms limit their freedom of expression and contradict the principle of free education, as uniforms may incur additional costs. The protest was organized by the National Student Council, coinciding with a legislative proposal that has passed the Senate and is awaiting a vote in the Chamber of Deputies. The Ministry of Education opposes the project, stating that there is no evidence that uniforms reduce bullying.
