Electromontaj has installed Romania's first two STATCOM systems, enhancing the electric transport network's stability and integrating renewable energy sources. The project, valued at approximately 260 million lei, was completed ahead of schedule and is a significant investment in Romania's energy infrastructure. The STATCOM technology stabilizes voltage and improves operational flexibility, contributing to energy security and resilience. This initiative marks a technical milestone, as Sibiu Sud becomes the first station in Romania to operate at five voltage levels.
