Electrolux și-a revizuit planul de restructurare a afacerilor sale din Italia. Compania va concedia mai puțini angajați decât planificare, au anunțat sindicatele - Economica.net
Swedish appliance manufacturer Electrolux has revised its restructuring plan in Italy, reducing layoffs and focusing on voluntary departures. The company now plans to lay off 1,250 employees instead of the initially proposed 1,700. Electrolux aims to manage workforce reductions through technical unemployment schemes and voluntary departure programs over three years, avoiding mandatory layoffs. Additionally, the company is open to selling its Cerreto d’Esi factory, which was initially set for closure. The Italian Minister of Industry welcomed the new approach but awaits a detailed plan regarding incentives for voluntary departures. A follow-up meeting is scheduled for October 29.
