Electrica Furnizare has launched a program offering incentives for prosumers and industrial consumers to optimize energy use during peak hours. Prosumers can earn bonuses for supplying stored energy in the evening, while companies can receive free energy during the day by shifting their consumption. The initiative aims to enhance energy efficiency and reduce pressure on the national grid. Participation is voluntary, with no penalties for non-compliance, and it is available until August 31, 2026. The program encourages the use of solar energy and battery storage, promoting a more sustainable energy landscape in Romania.
