Electrica încheie primul semestru cu un profit net de 457,5 milioane de lei. Veniturile au crescut cu 23,7%

Electrica reported a net profit of 457.5 million lei for the first half of 2026, with revenues increasing by 23.7% to 6.04 billion lei. The EBITDA rose by 7.7% to 1.08 billion lei, driven mainly by the supply segment. However, subsidies dropped significantly to 25.7 million lei from 1.06 billion lei in the same period last year. Distribution revenues grew by 4.9%, but EBITDA for this segment decreased due to rising operational costs. The company is focusing on expanding its renewable energy projects and storage capabilities.
