Electrica reported a net profit of 457.5 million lei in the first half of 2026, an 8.6% increase from the previous year. The operational profit rose to 773.1 million lei, driven by higher operational revenues. EBITDA also increased by 7.7%, reaching 1.079 billion lei, mainly due to the supply segment's positive performance. The company is focusing on transforming its operations and integrating the entire energy value chain. Revenue from electricity supply grew by 28.7%, while distribution revenues increased by 4.9%. Electrica continues to expand its renewable energy projects, with significant growth in electricity production.
