ELCEN repornește CET Grozăvești și adaugă 30 MW în Sistemul Energetic Național, în contextul crizei energetice
ELCEN has restarted the Grozăvești cogeneration plant, adding 30 MW to Romania's National Energy System amid an energy alert. This move aims to enhance energy stability and supply during the summer months. The plant previously focused on thermal energy production and is now contributing to both electricity and thermal energy needs in Bucharest. ELCEN is also preparing to restart the Progresu plant to further support energy demands. The company emphasizes the importance of modernizing energy production capacities and is investing over 5 billion lei in new high-efficiency cogeneration units.
