ELCEN oprește preventiv grupul în cogenerare de la CET Grozăvești din cauza caniculei

ELCEN has decided to temporarily shut down the cogeneration unit at CET Grozăvești to protect equipment amid extreme temperatures. This measure will not affect hot water supply in the capital, and CET Progresu will be activated to boost electricity production in the National Energy System. The shutdown is preventive, addressing technical issues related to high water temperatures and low thermal energy demand. ELCEN assures that monitoring will continue and the unit will be restarted when conditions allow.
