Electrocentrale București S.A. (ELCEN) has temporarily shut down the cogeneration unit at CET Grozăvești to protect equipment amid extreme weather conditions. The impact on the National Energy System is minimal, and hot water supply remains uninterrupted. ELCEN will activate CET Progresu to provide additional power to the system.
