Elanul revine în România după peste 200 de ani! Primele exemplare au ajuns deja în Parcul Vânători-Neamț • Newsweek România

Elk have returned to Romania after over 200 years, with a male and three females now in Vânători-Neamț Natural Park. Romsilva reports that the animals are adapting well to their new environment. The elk were carefully selected from specialized centers in Germany, France, and Switzerland and underwent a 30-day quarantine under Romsilva's supervision. This initiative marks the first step in reintroducing elk to Romania's wildlife.
