El Nino dă alarma în Pacific. Trei furtuni uriașe s-au format simultan deasupra apelor calde. Unde se duc Lowell, Karina și Marie

Two powerful hurricanes and a strengthening tropical storm have crossed the Pacific Ocean, influenced by an unprecedented El Nino phenomenon. Hurricane Lowell reached category 5, while Hurricane Karina was at category 4, both expected to pass near Hawaii. The National Hurricane Center warned of dangerous conditions due to waves from Lowell affecting the islands. Following these hurricanes, Tropical Storm Marie is also anticipated to become a hurricane. Experts note that the warming associated with El Nino creates favorable conditions for such storms, with a rare succession of three strong storms occurring. NOAA predicts a 69% chance that this year's El Nino will become the strongest on record, causing extreme weather globally, with peak effects expected in November.
