Ecranul care poate fi îmbrăcat: Descoperirea din Singapore transformă hainele obișnuite în dispozitive digitale inteligente
Researchers from the National University of Singapore have developed an interactive fabric that functions as a touchscreen, enabling clothing to display videos, measure temperature, and respond to touch. This technology utilizes special electronic fibers containing miniature LED chips and touch-sensitive layers. Demonstrated on a sleeve, the fabric can show recognizable images and simple graphics. It also integrates a microphone, speaker, and various sensors, allowing for voice commands and automatic brightness adjustment. Although currently limited by thickness and resolution, future advancements aim to create thinner fibers and incorporate artificial intelligence, paving the way for smart clothing that monitors health and environmental conditions.
