Four major companies in Oradea have responded to the mayor's call for energy savings during peak hours by reducing or halting production. NBI, Nidec, Golde, and Plexus have implemented various measures to decrease electricity consumption, including stopping production and adjusting climate control systems. NBI will halt production from August 8-23, while Nidec has optimized office temperatures and reduced industrial activity. Golde has ceased production for several days, and Plexus will lower energy use during critical evening hours. The local government has also taken steps to reduce public lighting and increase energy production.
