The estimated GDP for Q2 was 529.676 billion lei, reflecting a 1.9% decrease year-on-year. On a gross series basis, GDP for Q2 was 501.069 billion lei, down 0.2% from Q2 2025. Adjusted for seasonality, the first half of 2026 saw a GDP of 1,035.681 billion lei, a 1.6% decline from the same period in 2025.
