Economia României a stagnat în trimestrul II din 2026

Romania's GDP remained unchanged in Q2 2026 compared to the previous quarter, with a 0.6% contraction in the first half of the year. The estimated GDP for Q2 2026 was 529.676 billion lei, reflecting a 1.9% decrease year-on-year. On a seasonally adjusted basis, the GDP for the first half of 2026 was 1.035681 trillion lei, down 1.6% from the same period in 2025. Various sectors showed different performance levels, with agriculture and construction seeing slight improvements, while real estate and some service sectors experienced declines. The net taxes on products also decreased, and household consumption contributed negatively to GDP growth.
