Romania's economy grew by 0.8% in 2025, according to the National Institute of Statistics. The GDP reached 1,929.93 billion lei, with construction and real estate contributing positively, while industry did not contribute to growth. The contribution of agriculture and industry was lower than expected, while construction and real estate performed better. Household consumption contributed 0.3% to GDP growth, but public administration consumption decreased. Investment in fixed assets contributed 0.9% to GDP, with a slight increase in volume. The final GDP data for 2025 will be published on October 11, 2027.
