Econergy a conectat parcul de stocare în baterii (BESS) Părău 1 la SEN: 141MWh

Econergy has officially connected its Părău 1 battery storage park in Brașov, Romania, to the national grid, marking a significant step in renewable energy integration. This project, with a capacity of 70MW/141MWh, is the first commercial solar-plus-storage facility in the country, complementing an existing 92MW solar park. The system allows for flexible energy sourcing, optimizing operations based on market prices. Econergy plans to replicate this model nationally, with over 1GWh of storage capacity under development. The Părău 2 project is also underway, featuring a 342MW solar plant and a 150MW battery system, funded by the EBRD and other financial institutions, enhancing Romania's energy security and renewable output.
