A solar eclipse, described as the 'eclipse of the century', will occur on August 2, 2027, lasting over six minutes in some locations. The totality path will cross Gibraltar and parts of North Africa and the Middle East. Cities like Marbella and Cádiz in Spain will experience significant totality durations. Other regions, including Morocco and Saudi Arabia, will also witness lengthy totality. An annular solar eclipse is set for January 26, 2028, followed by another total solar eclipse in Australia and New Zealand on July 22, 2028.
