Eclipsa solară din 12 august va începe în Siberia, aproape de peninsula Taimir

A solar eclipse on August 12 will start near the northeastern coast of Siberia and move towards Spain, but will be barely visible in Russia. Experts indicate that the total eclipse will not be seen in the country, although it begins there. If weather permits, a partial view will be possible in northern regions of Russia, where over 80% of the sun will be covered. The eclipse's path will also cross Greenland and Iceland before reaching the Iberian Peninsula. The next total solar eclipse visible from Russia is expected in March 2033, limited to the Chukotka Peninsula. Indigenous groups like the Nganasans and Nenets inhabit the remote Taimir region, maintaining shamanic practices despite historical challenges.
