Romania achieved significant success at the Balkan Mountain Bike Marathon Championship, winning five gold, three silver, and three bronze medals. The event featured competitors from several countries, including Greece and Serbia. In the men's category, Romanian riders dominated, with Patrick Pescaru taking the championship title. The women's title went to Lejla Njemcevic from Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Romania secured two podium spots. The national team consisted of 17 riders, including notable athletes from various clubs.
