Ebola s-ar putea răspândi mai rapid de la mutații. OMS trage un semnal de alarmă asupra pericolului unui virus pentru care nu există vaccin
The World Health Organization and Africa CDC are investigating a potential mutation of the Ebola virus as cases surge in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The severity of the Bundibugyo outbreak is unprecedented, with confirmed cases rising to 4,000. This figure is significantly higher than the 2014 West Africa outbreak. The death toll is also alarmingly high, and there is currently no approved vaccine for this variant. A clinical trial for a new vaccine is underway.
