Italian luxury furniture manufacturer Natuzzi is relocating part of its production to Romania to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The company is transferring its Natuzzi Editions production for the North American market from Italy to Baia Mare, aiming to improve industrial margins and cut losses. This restructuring includes reducing active factories in Italy from five to two and has already attracted interest from 120 employees for voluntary departures. The move is expected to generate an additional 30-40 million euros in annual revenue. Natuzzi's first-quarter sales fell to 59.5 million euros amid a challenging global market.
