După ce PSD a cerut PNL și UDMR să intre la guvernare, Csoma Botond explică tranșant: „Este imposibil”
Csoma Botond, UDMR leader, stated that a government coalition with PSD and PNL is currently unfeasible due to PNL's refusal to partner with social democrats. He emphasized that without PNL, the only alternative would breach UDMR's principles by collaborating with anti-Hungarian extremists. Following discussions, Sorin Grindeanu from PSD indicated that they would only join a government if a transparent majority is established. Botond reiterated that the desired coalition could only happen if PNL changes its stance. He expressed concerns about forming a majority with parties like AUR, which UDMR rejects. Despite efforts to mediate between PNL and PSD, no progress has been made, leaving UDMR in a challenging position.
