The EU has reached an agreement to provide 6.6 billion euros in funding to Ukraine, which had been delayed for years due to Hungary's veto. This funding will reimburse member states that provided military aid to Ukraine. Following recent elections in Hungary, the situation has been resolved, allowing discussions on the allocation of these funds to proceed. A total of 4.7 billion euros will be reimbursed to member states, with some planning to use it for joint military projects with Ukraine. Additionally, 900 million euros will support EU-led training missions for Ukrainian forces, and 1 billion euros will be allocated for new joint arms procurement projects. Kaja Kallas emphasized that Europe will continue to support Ukraine despite hybrid attacks from Moscow.
