The body of Indian climber Dorje Morup, known as 'Green Boots', may finally be recovered from Mount Everest after nearly 30 years. Morup died in 1996 while descending the mountain, and his remains have been located at around 8,500 meters. Indian authorities are planning a high-altitude mission to retrieve the body, hoping to return it to his family by September if DNA tests confirm his identity. Morup was part of an Indo-Tibetan Border Police expedition that faced severe weather conditions during their ascent, leading to the tragic loss of several climbers.
