The 26.35 kilometers stretch of the Transylvania Highway between Suplacu de Barcău and Chiribiș may open in November, according to Pro Infrastructură. The project has seen four contractors over 22 years, with most of the road already asphalted. However, some critical areas remain unfinished, particularly near the Suplacu de Barcău viaduct. Although completion by the end of October is theoretically possible, the official opening is expected in November. Additionally, the stretch between Zimbor and Nădășelu may also open in December, allowing for a continuous route on the A3 highway.
