Dunărea se apropie de un minim istoric. Debitul este aproape de nivelul din 1985

The Danube's flow continues to decrease, projected to reach around 1,500 cubic meters per second in early August, significantly below the historical average. This low level has led to irrigation restrictions in the Călărași-Cernavodă sector. The current flow is nearly three times lower than the July average and close to levels recorded in 2005. Additionally, Reactor 1 at the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant has been shut down to maintain Reactor 2's operation. Severe drought persists across the Danube basin, affecting various regions, although there are no restrictions on drinking water supply.
