Dunărea scade dramatic: Armata intervine la Cernavodă

Urgent operations are underway on the Danube to improve water supply to the Cernavodă nuclear power plant. The military will detonate a rock to redirect water flow, and four barges will be sunk to block the Bala arm. The government allocated 7 million lei for these measures due to a state of emergency caused by low energy production. The Danube's flow has dropped below 1,600 cubic meters per second, and further decreases are expected. Monitoring efforts include drone measurements and a mobile lab assessing the river's flow.
